Flooded streets
Say how deep the water looks, how long it has sat there, and whether cars or rickshaws can still pass.

ReportVerifyCreate Change
Bangladesh's community-powered environmental reporting platform. Report hazards, learn safety tips, and build a cleaner, safer future together.
Tap any card to jump straight into it. Looking around the map, the dashboard and the lessons is open to everyone — we only ask you to sign in when you post something.
Depth, water condition and duration decide whether the city sends a pump or a broom. The more precise you are, the faster the crew arrives.

2 The pin appears on the live map straight away
3 Neighbours can verify it — +2 pts each
Eliminate standing water around your home. Cover water containers. Clean drains weekly. Report breeding sites to help your community stay safe.
🦟Aedes aegypti lays eggs in clean, still water and they hatch in days. One uncovered drum can seed a whole lane — naming the container is what makes the report actionable.

2 City vector-control teams see it on the hazard map
3 A photo of the water earns another +3 pts
Waste type and pile size tell the collection crew which vehicle to send. A truck-load of construction debris and a bag of household waste are two different jobs.

Clean-up drives, tree planting, awareness walks — hosted by neighbours like you. Join one and watch the volunteer count climb, or start your own and rally your street.
If you or someone nearby is in danger — call 999 immediately. This is the national unified emergency number for all services.

সমস্যা কোথায়?
EkhoniJanao is a community map for flooded streets, mosquito breeding sites and waste piles across Bangladesh. You pin what you see. Neighbours check it. Everyone looking at the map reads the same picture.
Four moves, from the street to a public record.
Sign in, pin the place, and describe water, a breeding site or a waste pile. Add photos or a short video from safe ground.
A neighbour who can see the place taps Verify, or leaves a comment if it has changed. A headline is not enough.
Every report shows New, Review, In progress or Resolved. An appointed official can move that status and leave a public note.
The person who filed it, or an appointed official, can mark it resolved. If a neighbour says the problem is still there, the report opens again.
On the map
Say how deep the water looks, how long it has sat there, and whether cars or rickshaws can still pass.
Tyres, tanks, drains and construction pits. Choose the site type and how serious it looks.
Name the waste, estimate the pile, and write it so someone understands without walking there.
Up to 10 photos, 5MB each, and 2 videos, 50MB each. Take them from dry, safe ground. Stay clear of medical, sharp or chemical waste.
Switch water, dengue and waste layers. Choose street, satellite or hybrid. Search a Dhaka place, or tap empty ground to start a report.
Set a start and a destination. The planner compares roads with open waterlogging reports and can suggest a detour.
Filter your own submissions by type, then open one for its status and comments. Delete is yours, with a short undo.
Export a PDF briefing, a spreadsheet, or the raw data from the menu or from Settings.
With neighbours
Verification counts how many signed-in neighbours confirm a report. Comments are for what changed on the ground.
After a report is marked resolved, readers can say the site is clear or that the problem is still there.
Ask for help, offer it, share a tip, ask a question or start a chat. Search by word or area, and save a post.
Clean-ups, planting and awareness walks. Filter what is coming up, what has room, what you joined, or what you host.
Counts by type and status, a 7-day chart, and the areas that keep appearing.

Learn and recognition
A few minutes each, in English or Bangla: floods, dengue, waste, air, water, safety, emergencies, how to file a useful report, and neighbourhood action.
Primary sources, a glossary and longer paths. For health or flood advice, read who published it and when.
Three levels, ten questions, an optional timer, and an explanation after each answer. Quiz points stop after a daily cap.
Reports, photos, video, a detailed description, verifications, comments, resolutions, a daily visit and a streak all add points.
All time, this month and this week, plus separate lists for reports and verifications. School lists use the school on a profile.
Each badge shows what it asks for and how far along you are. The requirements are on that page.
Reputation, recent activity and a points history, after you sign in. Add a school if you want the school ranking.
Around the app
In Bangladesh call 999 for police, fire or an ambulance. This app does not send a rescue team.
Open it from the question mark or from the menu. It walks the real screens and never starts by itself.
Light or dark, text size, and English or Bangla. Quiet the motion, make map pins easier to see, and choose which alerts you want. The name EkhoniJanao and সমস্যা কোথায়? stay as written.
Email, Google or GitHub. Guests can look around. Reporting, verifying, posting, joining and your profile need an account.
Anything tagged Demo report is an example for the overview, not a verified incident. Totals can include those examples.
Report, verify, comment, post, reply, and join or host an event. If you filed a report you can mark it resolved. A neighbour who says the problem is still there opens it again. The government desk and the admin desk stay closed.
The desk appears only after the site admin appoints that account. They sort reports, set the public status, and can comment as their organisation. They cannot appoint anyone, and they cannot become the admin. Desk clocks of 48 hours, 7 days and 14 days are follow-up targets, not a promise that a crew will arrive.
One account. Remove a harmful report, comment, post, reply or event. Override a status with a public reason. Appoint or remove officials. Each action needs a reason and is written to a private log. Nobody can grant this role to themselves.
The hazard is meant to be seen. The account behind it is not. The full policy is one tap away, written for Bangladesh.
These four numbers are counted from what is loaded now. They are not a census of the city.
